Promising Russian attack helicopters will become optionally manned, that is, they will be able to be controlled by a pilot or operate without a pilot.
The machines will also be connected to a common information field for interaction between various aircraft and ground control points.
In addition, as Andrey Boginsky, CEO of the Russian Helicopters holding company, told TASS, the attack aircraft of the future will be distinguished by the versatility of using one or another weapon. The head of the holding also noted that the external forms of promising helicopters can also differ significantly from modern ones. "From the point of view of the forms, how it will look is still an open question. When the requirements are finalized, it will be possible to say with what these requirements will be fulfilled," Andrei Boginsky said.
