Moscow. November 22. INTERFAX - The training on the detection, classification and destruction of air targets took place with calculations of S-300V4 anti-aircraft missile systems deployed on the Kuril Islands, the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported on Monday.
"The air defense forces on duty received information about the violation of the air borders of Russia by aircraft of a conditional enemy, after which the S-300V4 calculations performed a search, identification and tracking of air targets that simulated an "enemy" air raid. S-300V4 made training (electronic) launches of anti-aircraft missiles at targets and "destroyed" enemy aircraft at the entrance to the zone of destruction of the air defense system," the report said.
