The Mi-17 transport helicopter of the Indian Air Force made an emergency landing in one of the mountainous areas. Video footage taken during this incident appeared on the network.
Apparently, the pilots picked up a not too good place to land their rotorcraft, so when it touched the ground, it fell to the right, damaging the propeller blades at the same time.
The incident caused a real panic among the locals, who hurried away from the scene.
It is reported that all five on board escaped with minor injuries.
Unfortunately, this is not the first case that has occurred abroad with one of the most popular and widespread helicopters in the world.
So, at the end of August, the Mi-17 of the Mexican Navy landed hard in Agua Blanca in Hidalgo State. Falling, the chopper touched a minibus moving slowly along the road. Fortunately, no one was injured in it. Both passengers and crew members escaped with minor injuries.
In October, in Libya, the "seventeenth", carrying a large amount of money, fell into the arena of the Tarhun stadium. The helicopter also fell on its side, its tail boom broke and the propeller blades collapsed. There were no casualties.
According to experts, these accidents, like the case in India, occurred not because of technical problems, but because of crew errors.
