The crew of the large anti-submarine ship (BOD) "Admiral Panteleev" during the exercise worked out the algorithm of actions to search for a submarine of a conditional enemy, said the head of the information support department of the press service of the Pacific Fleet, Captain 3rd rank Ilya Kolesnikov.
To search for the boat, the sailors used the Ka-27PL deck helicopter, which used the GAS sonar station - this equipment is lowered to a depth.
After the submarine was discovered, data on its location was transmitted to the crew of the ship, which "attacked" the submarine with jet depth charges, and then fired a conditional volley of torpedoes.
