Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have completed tests of the MRK-15 robotic complex, which were carried out for two months. They were conducted on the basis of the Center for Special Risk Rescue operations "Leader".
This robot was previously used by employees of the Rosgvardiya, and then it was upgraded and now entered the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is a small tracked all-terrain vehicle with a manipulator arm, on which a color video camera with good resolution is attached. The operator sees in detail everything that the robot touches and controls it remotely.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations needs such a machine to perform visual reconnaissance of the terrain, industrial and residential premises at any time of the day with any degree of illumination. With additional equipment, it can search for and destroy explosive objects, move cargo, and perform high-precision technological operations.
"The approbation was carried out in accordance with a special program, which provided for the verification of 32 parameters.
