At the Dubai Air Show, Russia presented both civil and military aircraft: from the SSJ-100 AURUS business jet to the fifth-generation Checkmate fighter. This was reported on Tuesday, November 16, by a correspondent of Izvestia from the scene.
Several contracts for the sale of new aircraft have already been concluded. Thus, the Mi-171a2 helicopter in VIP configuration arrived at the exhibition as an exhibit, but was already bought by one of the representatives of the Arab royal families. In addition, the first agreements between large companies have been signed. According to Dmitry Osipov, CEO of PJSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, Boeing will be made from Russian titanium.
Most of all, the Checkmate fighter, or Su-75, attracted the attention of foreign experts. His presentation with a laser show and strobe lights for different delegations was launched every 15 minutes.
The Su-75 Checkmate is a fifth-generation single-engine multirole fighter. It is almost impossible to detect. Artificial intelligence systems built into the device, if necessary, perform the role of a co-pilot.
One of the main advantages of Checkmate is its modular design, which allows you to configure a fighter for almost any task: you can increase the crew to two people or, conversely, make it unmanned, install any of the available means of destruction, change the configuration of electronic equipment. A significant plus for potential buyers is the economic attractiveness of the Su-75, especially in comparison with foreign analogues.
Thus, the main competitor of Checkmate is the American F-35 Lightning fighter with combat and flight characteristics similar to the Russian development. However, it costs much more. The F-35 has long been nicknamed the "money fighter."

Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 20 at MAKS-2021 inspected a model aircraft in the Sukhoi pavilion. As specified in Rostec, there were no analogues of such an aircraft in Russia yet.
Checkmate will cost $25-30 million. It will be collected in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
