DUBAI, November 14. /tass/. Kronstadt JSC notes the increased interest in the Orion-E unmanned complex from foreign customers, with a number of them negotiations are in an active phase. This was announced to TASS by the company's CEO Sergey Bogatikov at the Dubai Airshow 2021 International Airshow.
"Indeed, in recent years we have noticed increased interest in the Orion-E complex from a number of foreign customers, including from the Middle East. <...> It is premature to name specific countries, since negotiations with a number of customers are currently in an active phase," he said.
According to Bogatikov, in recent years, Kronstadt together with Rosoboronexport JSC has organized a number of presentations of the company's unmanned products for foreign customers, including demonstration flights of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, said earlier that foreign customers are showing interest in the Russian Orion-E reconnaissance and strike drone. Earlier, TASS reported that the specialists of Kronstadt JSC are working on equipping Orion drones with an electronic warfare system.

According to Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec State Corporation), the drone is currently being offered for export in an air reconnaissance variant. At the same time, the Russian armed forces receive the complex in a shock version.
