Beijing. November 14. INTERFAX - China is able to land taikonauts on the surface of the Moon in the period earlier than 2030, the technical adviser of the Chinese Academy of Space Technologies (CAST) said on the air of the Chinese Television Network Ye Peijian.

"Personally, I think that while technological developments aimed at conducting manned missions to land on the Moon continue, while the country sets a goal, the landing of Chinese taikonauts on the Moon is quite possible earlier than 2030," Ye Peijian said on the Chinese Television Network (CCTV).
