INTERFAX - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Ruslan Tsalikov awarded the team of 48 Central Research Institutes of the Ministry of Defense of Russia for their participation in the development of the world's first coronavirus vaccine, the Russian military department reported on Saturday.
"The first deputy head of the military department presented honorary awards to the staff of 48 Central Research Institutes of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for their participation in the development of the world's first vaccine against a new coronavirus infection," the message says.
Tsalikov also congratulated the servicemen of the radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the 103rd anniversary of its formation.
"On behalf of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, I congratulate a large combat-ready, absolutely qualified, absolutely brave in all respects team of radiation, chemical and biological protection troops on the anniversary of their formation," the first Deputy head of the Ministry of Defense said.
