It is noted that, first of all, the intensity of the actions of naval forces, air and sea reconnaissance, as well as strategic aviation has increased.
During the day, the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Russian Federation escorted four NATO reconnaissance aircraft in the Black Sea region, the Russian Defense Ministry also reported.
"Over the past day, four NATO reconnaissance aircraft have been detected and accompanied by radar means of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces," the ministry said.
The flights of U-2S, RC-135 scouts and two P-8A Poseidon base patrol aircraft were carried out over the northwestern and central parts of the Black Sea.
In addition, "from 12 to 15 o'clock, an RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft of the British Air Force tried to approach the state border of the Russian Federation in the area of the southwestern part of the Crimean Peninsula."
In order to control his actions, a Su-30 fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces was lifted into the air from the duty forces. He approached the British aircraft at a distance of about 30 kilometers from the border of the Russian Federation, after which the British intelligence officer changed course in the direction of the Russian border.
