TSAMTO, November 10. Novikombank, the main bank of the Rostec State Corporation, has provided financial support for the construction of the research vessel "Evgeny Goriglejan", which is scheduled to begin testing in December.
Among the main tasks of the oceanographic research vessel "Evgeny Goriglejan" are underwater technical work, environmental monitoring of the marine environment, oceanographic survey of the bottom layer, assistance to search and rescue forces at sea. The vessel is capable of taking on board underwater and rescue vehicles. The displacement of the OIS is 4 thousand tons, the autonomy is 30 days, the crew is 32 people plus 25 members of the expedition.
Shipbuilding is one of the priority sectors in Novikombank's loan portfolio. The Bank organizes financing for the construction of icebreakers, special-purpose civil vessels, marine equipment, provides industry companies with bank guarantees to ensure obligations to counterparties.
Novikombank demonstrates positive dynamics of financing of this direction. Thus, in the first half of 2021, the volume of loans granted to shipbuilding enterprises increased from 30.6 billion rubles to 31.4 billion rubles.
Within the framework of the International Naval Salon MVMS-2021, Novikombank concluded a number of strategically significant agreements for shipbuilding totaling more than 15 billion rubles.
