The "Arterra-VT-3D" simulator has been put into service by the ZVO gunners in the Moscow region

TSAMTO, November 10. The Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District in the Moscow region received a training simulator "Arterra-VT-3D" for training and improving the practical skills of artillery specialists.

Thanks to the new simulator, military personnel will be able to work out a full list of measures for the preparation of artillery firing, fire control and coordination of various units of troops.

Arterra-VT-3D includes a set of special software and hardware. With the help of modern technologies, servicemen will be able to train in shooting more than 10 different types of ammunition, including incendiary, high-precision and smoke, to simulate the conduct of flat, mounted, ricochet and mortar fire.

Thousands of kilometers of various types of terrain formed on the basis of electronic topographic maps are included in the program of training facilities. At the same time, gunners will be able to improve their shooting skills at night and during the day, as well as under various meteorological and ballistic conditions, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
