NEW YORK, November 9th. /tass/. SpaceX's Crew Dragon manned spacecraft with the crew of the Crew-2 mission landed on Monday evening in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. The broadcast is carried out on the website of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The ship named Endeavour landed on the water at 22:33 on the time of the East coast of the United States (06:33 Moscow time on November 9). On board are American astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan MacArthur, European Space Agency astronaut Tom Pesquet, and Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Akihiko Hoshide.
Earlier on Monday, Crew Dragon automatically undocked from the International Space Station. Before heading for Earth, the ship made a complete flyby of the station to take photos of it.
The crew of the Crew-2 mission arrived at the ISS in April this year and joined Russians Oleg Novitsky and Peter Dubrovu, NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, Mark Wanda Hai and astronaut of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Soichi Noguchi. Now there are three crew members at the station: cosmonauts of Roscosmos Anton Shkaplerov and Dubrov, as well as Vande Hai.
Soon, the third crew will fly to the ISS on the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will include American astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron, as well as ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer. The launch of the spacecraft is scheduled for November 10 from the site of the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
