MOSCOW, November 8/ Sputnik Radio. Russia has signed a contract to participate in the creation of the newest heavy Chinese helicopter. The agreement was signed on June 25, but it became known on Monday at a meeting of President Vladimir Putin with the CEO of the Russian Helicopters company Andrey Boginsky, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the contract, which is designed for 13 years, the Russian side will undertake the development of the transmission, tail rotor and anti-icing system of the combat vehicle.
In general, according to Boginsky, the company plans to produce and sell 1,100 helicopters in the country and abroad by 2025.
Earlier, Sputnik radio told about Russia's plans to export Ka-52M Alligator attack helicopters.
