The unique capabilities of the new knife of combat swimmers of the Navy "Igla" were shown on video.

The next program "Military acceptance" on the TV channel "Zvezda" was dedicated to the knives of Russian special forces. Among them, a new weapon developed in Kazan for combat swimmers of the Russian Navy was shown. This is a universal combat knife (NOOB) "Needle". It is designed for underwater combat, and in general it will help out in a variety of situations. There is a ruler on the blade, a saw with a serrated sharpening, which is useful for cutting ropes, parachute slings and fishing nets - combat swimmers sometimes get entangled in them.

The program shows the entire process of manufacturing the "Needle". First, the workpiece is tempered at a temperature of 1500 degrees, then annealed to relieve stress and brittleness of the metal, then ground and milled on a CNC machine, where bevels and a cutting edge are formed. This is followed by polishing and sharpening - first with a special machine, and then manually. At the very end, a ruler is engraved on the blade.

As part of standard tests, the knife is alternately kept in chambers with temperatures of -50 ° C and +50 ° C degrees. The next stage is the bending resistance test. The knife heals in a vice and hangs 100 kilograms of cargo on the blade. But the host of the "Acceptance" decided to go further and add another 50 kilograms, after which he himself put all his weight on the "Needle". As a result, the knife withstood a load of 225 kilograms without a hint of deformation.

Finally, the testers decided to shoot the "Needle" with a pistol to check whether the knife would cut the bullet. The experiment was carried out at the TSNIITOCHMASH landfill.

But first we tested the knife of the FSB special forces "Punisher". The shot was fired from 10 meters from Stechkin's pistol with a 9x15 cartridge used by law enforcement agencies. As a result of the hit, the blade received a slight chip, the sharpened edge was slightly damaged. However, the camera did not record a spectacular cutting of the bullet - the ammunition went sideways.

After the shot in the "Needle", the bullet was almost perfectly cut into two parts. Not a single damage was noticed on the blade. The test was repeated - the bullet only slightly damaged the color. The blade remained in perfect condition. The verdict of experts: "the knife is unkillable."
