Crews of infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 overcame a water barrier and destroyed tanks of a simulated enemy with the help of an anti-tank missile system (ATGM) "Fagot" in the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of the Western Military District on Saturday, November 6.
The military of the Taman Motorized Rifle Division of the Guards Tank Army of the ZVO took part in a special tactical exercise that ended at the Alabino training ground.
Mechanics-drivers drove at full speed into the water and continued to move already in the flood position. The Fagot ATGM was used to destroy heavily armored conventional opponents.
In total, during the exercises, motorized infantry destroyed about 200 targets.
On November 3, it was reported that the Russian military conducted more than 200 command and staff exercises on the territory of the Far East in the 2021 academic year. Additionally, the servicemen carried out 40 tactical military exercises on the ground with firing.
