In the Pacific Fleet in 2021, according to the results of combat training, 27 military units were awarded the honorary name "Shock".
Of these, fourteen units confirmed their rank, and thirteen defended them for the first time.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the number of "Shock" formations in the Pacific Fleet has increased by more than 20 percent in comparison with 2020. Among the best military collectives are thirteen crews of surface ships and four crews of submarines.
The Varyag missile cruiser of the Nakhimov Guards Order was recognized as the best surface ship of the Pacific Fleet for tactical training. The best surface ship of the fleet in maritime training is the corvette "Perfect".
The crew of the corvette "Perfect" represented the Russian Navy at the international competition "Sea Cup" within the framework of the Army International Games "ARMI-2021" and won a landslide victory in it.
During the check for the award of the honorary title "Shock", combat and mobilization readiness, the technical condition of weapons and equipment, staffing and the state of military discipline were checked - more than 15 indicators in total. The title is awarded by order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and is valid for one year.
