A new development plan is being developed for the Votkinsk Plant, one of the largest enterprises in Udmurtia. Possible options were discussed by the head of the republic Alexander Brechalov and the general designer of the corporation of the Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering Yuri Solomonov.
According to Brechalov, quoted by Susanin news agency, the situation at the plant is constantly monitored by the leadership of the republic. The company carries a large social burden — it provides jobs for about 11 thousand people.
The General Designer of MIT also noted the importance of detailed elaboration of the enterprise development plan. The roadmap is already under approval at MIT. In particular, it provides for gradual diversification of production and stable implementation of the state defense order. In the near future, the plan will be presented to the leadership of the republic.
JSC "Votkinsky Plant" is part of the MIT Corporation. It is considered one of the largest enterprises of the Russian defense complex. The company not only fulfills state orders, but also produces technological equipment for the space and oil and gas industries, nuclear energy and scientific developments.
