MOSCOW, November 3. /tass/. Starting this year, Russian military intelligence officers will begin receiving the latest communication systems for real-time coordination on the battlefield. This was announced in an interview with the newspaper "Krasnaya Zvezda" by the head of intelligence - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces for Intelligence, Major General Alexei Belousov.
"Starting this year, military intelligence units will receive a new generation of intelligence, control and communications complexes, providing integration with all modern technical means of communication, as well as with complexes with UAVs, allowing them to provide means of fire destruction with information about objects (targets) in time close to real," he said.
According to Belousov, the use of drones helps military intelligence officers in detecting enemy objects, and also increases the survivability of personnel.
He also noted that currently intelligence units are equipped with contract servicemen with a high level of training.
