TSAMTO, November 2. The Serov Mechanical Plant (SMZ) of the Technodinamika Holding, which celebrated its 90th anniversary on November 1, has more than tripled its revenue over the past five years.

The main share of production is made up of products within the framework of the State Budget. At the same time, about 30% is accounted for by the production of equipment for the mining and oil and gas industries as part of the diversification program.

Since 2015, the Serov Mekhzavod has mastered the production of more than 200 types of products for the oil and mining industries, as well as new types of special products for artillery systems of various calibers.

As part of the diversification program, SMZ produces equipment for the oil, mining and exploration industries. The plant's products are in high demand among large oil producing, mining and exploration companies, such as MMC Norilsk Nickel, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, AK Alrosa, NK Rosneft, NK Lukoil, Tatneft, etc.

Another direction is the production of sewing products. In 2021, the company doubled the output of clothing products compared to the same period last year. According to the results of the first nine months of this year, the target figure reached 115%. At the same time, labor productivity was more than 160%.

To date, the company has implemented major investment projects for the reconstruction and modernization of industrial facilities. In particular, seven automated machining modules were put into operation, about 70 units of technological equipment were installed, including nine robotic systems, as well as new equipment - turning machining centers with an imported CNC system. The machines are designed for the production of both civil products (drill locks, couplings, etc.) and special purpose.

In addition, the industrial infrastructure has been modernized, the systems of technical and drinking water supply, heating, energy supply have been updated, as well as highways, security perimeter, checkpoints and a fire protection system complex have been reconstructed.

Currently, the company continues to work on improving production facilities.
