TASS, November 2. Crews of large amphibious ships of the Pacific Fleet conducted artillery firing in the Sea of Okhotsk, destroying an "enemy" command post on the shore and floating sea mines, the press service of the fleet reported on Tuesday.
"The crews of the large amphibious ships of the Pacific Fleet "Nikolai Vilkov" and "Admiral Nevelskoy" performed a complex of artillery firing at sea and coastal targets in the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk. The shooting took place at the naval training ground in accordance with the fleet's combat training plan. During the exercise, artillery crews destroyed a coastal target simulating a command post of a conditional enemy, and also completed a training task to destroy floating sea mines," the report says.
