SOCHI, November 1. /tass/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the level of equipment of the Russian Navy with modern weapons by 2027 should exceed 70%.
"The fleet modernization program is consistently increasing, in general, by 2027 the level of its equipment with modern weapons should exceed 70%," the head of state said at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and representatives of the defense Industry on Monday.
According to Putin, the share of modern weapons and equipment in the air defense and missile defense forces will be brought to at least 80% at the turn of 2025-2027.
"The current pace of rearmament of the air defense and missile defense forces will allow at the turn of 2025-2027 to bring the share of modern weapons and equipment here to at least 80%," Putin said.
