TSAMTO, November 1. Concern "Constellation" of the holding "Roselectronics" (part of Rostec) and JSC "NIIET" combine efforts to create a domestic electronic component base (ECB) for Russian-made communication equipment, including a new generation.
The corresponding agreement was signed by the General Director of the Concern "Constellation" Mikhail Artemov and the General director of JSC "NIIET" Pavel Kutsko.
The parties agreed to work together in the implementation of the technical policy for the unification of the ECB with the involvement of broad cooperation, as well as participation in cross-cutting projects of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, providing for the development of electronic communications equipment based on the domestic electronic component base.
"The agreement will contribute to the development of cooperation between enterprises of the radio-electronic industry, as well as the implementation of the Concern's production plans in the field of import substitution. In addition to increasing the localization level of our equipment production, we will work on the formation of a technological base for the creation of next-generation means of communication," said Mikhail Artemov, CEO of the Constellation Concern.
As part of the cooperation, it is planned to develop, manufacture and supply domestic electronic components to create modern communication equipment, including DMR standard equipment.
"The complex of works that are planned to be carried out for the purpose of import substitution of ECB in DMR radio stations will allow JSC NIIET to increase the degree of product diversification, and in the future will serve as a basis for the creation of modern domestic components for other types of communication and telecommunications equipment, including promising ones," said Pavel Kutsko, Director General of JSC NIIET.
