TSAMTO, November 1. A new automatic sonometric complex AZK-7 has been delivered to the compound of rocket troops and artillery of the combined-arms army of the Air Defense Forces, stationed in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
It is designed to determine the location of the enemy's barrel artillery and mortars by the sound of shots and service the firing of its artillery by the sound of shell bursts.
With the help of the AZK-7, artillery scouts will search, bearing acoustic signal sources in a given reconnaissance band, transmit information to command posts via radio and wired communication channels.
The AZK-7 complex includes a central point and three base points, the equipment of the complex is placed on four URAL-43203 vehicles with special van bodies, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
