INTERFAX - In the assembly and testing building of site No. 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the blocks of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle were unloaded, which will launch the Soyuz MS-20 transport manned spacecraft into near-Earth orbit in December, the state corporation Roscosmos reported on Saturday.
An external inspection of the blocks is currently being carried out.
The next stage of work is the docking of compartments 1A and 2A of the central block, checking the tightness of the propulsion systems of blocks "B" and "G". All technological operations are performed by specialists of the Yuzhny Space Center (a branch of the Center for the Operation of Ground-based Space Infrastructure Facilities) and the Progress Rocket and Space Center (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation).
