MURMANSK, October 28. /tass/. The frigate of the Northern Fleet "Admiral Gorshkov" conducted training anti-aircraft missile firing at air and sea targets in the Barents Sea. This was reported on Thursday in the press service of the fleet.
"The crew of the frigate Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov practiced firing at air and sea targets with the Poliment-Redut anti-aircraft missile system. The combat exercises were carried out at the training grounds of the Northern Fleet in the Barents Sea," the message says.
The representatives of the fleet added that for navigation and aviation flights, the firing area was closed by the forces of the brigade of the protection of the water area of the Kola Flotilla of heterogeneous forces, they also provided the setting of air targets - target missiles. After practicing firing, the frigate Admiral Gorshkov returned to the main base point - Severomorsk.
