MOSCOW, October 28. /tass/. The Board of Directors of the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia during the meeting approved the conclusion of a deal with Glavkosmos (part of Roscosmos) for the manufacture of the Soyuz MS manned spacecraft, according to the information disclosure website.
"To give consent to a transaction with an interest: a contract for the manufacture of the Soyuz MS manned transport vehicle between Glavkosmos JSC (the customer) and RSC Energia PJSC (the contractor)," the Board of Directors said in its decision.
As specified, the transaction price will be 2.79 billion rubles. "The term of the contract is until 02/29/2024 or until the parties fully fulfill their obligations," the decision says.
On the eve of the CEO of Glavkosmos Dmitry Loskutov announced the signing of a preliminary agreement on the provision of four commercial seats in the Soyuz in 2024 for two commercial flights.
