Multi-purpose Russian Su-35S fighters have appeared for the first time at a Russian military base in the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli. This is reported by Telegram channel "Military Observer".
"The appearance of these aircraft in the area of the expected Turkish military operation against Kurdish paramilitary groups gives a clear signal to Ankara," the publication claims.
Earlier, The National Interest reported that the United States evaluated the armament of the multi-purpose Russian Su-35S aircraft and called it the best aircraft to gain air superiority. The Su-35S received a glass cockpit with new avionics, writes the author of the material Mark Episkopos (Mark Episkopos). Digital devices have been replaced with analog ones, and the new radar is capable of tracking up to 30 targets at a distance of up to 400 kilometers.
The Su-35S is an upgraded ultra-maneuverable multifunctional fighter of the "4++" generation. It uses technologies that provide superiority over fighters of a similar class.
