In the framework of the international forum "Ethics of artificial intelligence: the beginning of confidence" the Russian government, the Ministry of economic development Alliance in the field of AI (Sberbank, MTS, VK, "Gazprom Neft", "Yandex", RDIF) and other major companies and research organizations have signed the code of ethics in the field of artificial intelligence (KASII), which sets the General ethical principles and standards of conduct for the industry.
This Code applies to relations related to the ethical aspects of the creation (design, construction, piloting), implementation and use of AI technologies at all stages of the life cycle, which are currently not regulated by Russian legislation or other regulatory acts.
The document consists of 33 points and, among other things, recommends market participants:
- cooperate with each other on the issue of identifying and verifying information on ways to create universal AI systems;
- inform users about their interaction with AI systems;
- give the opportunity to stop interacting with AI at the request of the client;
- prevent the threats posed by technology.
Responsibility for the consequences of using AI systems is imposed on a person.
To implement the code, a special commission will be created, which will include scientists, business representatives and employees of government agencies. Despite the fact that the CECI is advisory in nature, each organization that has signed the code will be obliged to appoint AI ethics commissioners who will monitor its compliance.
