The crew of the patrol ship "Dmitry Rogachev" began the passage of the Black Sea Strait of the Bosphorus on the way to the Mediterranean Sea.
According to the Black Sea Fleet, during the transition, the ship's crew performed a complex of various ship exercises in the fleet's combat training grounds in the Black Sea.
"The crew of the ship, together with the crews of the Ka-27 helicopter, worked out tasks to ensure practical flights, takeoffs and landings on deck, both on the ship's course and when anchored, both during daylight and at night," the press service said.
Earlier, the crew of the Vyshny Volochek small rocket ship joined the naval forces grouping in the Mediterranean Sea. A Russian squadron operates on a permanent basis in the Mediterranean Sea. It consists of up to 15 warships and support vessels.
