A special feature of the design of this machine is a polymer self-sealing coating of the tanker tank, which prevents the leakage of fuel after being hit by 7.62 mm bullets fired from Kalashnikov assault rifles.
The tank itself is made of steel, with a galvanized coating inside. It can hold up to 14,000 liters of gasoline, diesel or aviation fuel.
A special mechanism allows you to refuel four units of equipment at the same time. Up to 600 liters are pumped in one minute.
This technique can be operated at temperatures from -40 ° C to +50 ° C.
It is also reported about the arrival of the AC-7.5 tanker based on KAMAZ-5350 (8x8), designed for transportation and short-term storage of fuel.
This year, the MTO units of the tank army of the ZVO have replenished more than eighty units of various equipment.
