"The counter-terrorism units of the Eastern Military District were trained in 11 subjects of the Far East. More than 14 thousand military personnel were involved in the events, about 500 units of weapons, military and special equipment were involved, including armored vehicles "Tiger", "Typhoon", - the message says.
Interdepartmental operational groups for the management of counter-terrorism forces and means were deployed in the regions of the deployment of the Air Force, the air groups of the Air Force and air defense association, the anti-terror units of the formations and military units of the district and other organizations of the military district were checked. Situations based on modern terrorist tactics have been created for counter-terrorism groups. The troops repelled attacks on military and socially significant objects, in particular warehouses with weapons and fuel and lubricants, command posts, headquarters, fleets of combat vehicles.
"Taking into account the experience of modern armed conflicts, special attention was paid to countering quadrocopter-type UAVs, the use of electronic warfare "Lesochek", "Inhabitant", - the press service specified.
