The Russian military base in Tajikistan will receive modern military equipment of the Uralvagonzavod Corporation by the end of the year.
This is reported by the press service of the Central Military District, referring to the chief of staff of the 201st military base, Colonel Yevgeny Okhrimenko.
In total, three dozen T-72B3M tanks with improved combat characteristics will be delivered. They will replace combat vehicles of early modifications.
It is also reported about the transfer of a batch of infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 modern version to motorized infantry, and anti-aircraft gunners - the latest missile systems "Willow", ATGM "Kornet", advanced rocket infantry flamethrowers with increased range and power, 12.7 mm sniper rifles ASVK-M "Cord", AK-12 assault rifles, sanitary armored vehicles "Lens" and other equipment.
