Roscosmos will present its exposition at the 72nd International Astronautical Congress in Dubai (UAE), where for the first time abroad it will show a new model of the multifunctional laboratory module "Science", as well as a model of the Zeus orbital complex and the transport and energy module (TEM). This was reported on Sunday in the press service of Roscosmos.
"Roscosmos State Corporation will present its exposition for the first time at the IAC International Astronautical Congress. A significant part of the exposition is devoted to manned cosmonautics, in particular, for the first time abroad, a new mock-up of the multifunctional laboratory module "Science", as well as a mock-up of the Zeus orbital complex and the transport and energy module will be presented," the message says.
It notes that the Russian delegation to the congress will be headed by the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin. "During the congress, the Director General will take part in the plenary session of the heads of space agencies, as well as hold bilateral talks with the leadership of leading foreign space agencies and organizations," the press service reported.
The 72nd International Astronautical Congress will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 25 to 29 under the auspices of the International Federation of Astronautics. Initially, the congress in Dubai was supposed to be held in 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was held in an online format, and the event in the UAE had to be postponed to 2021. Annual international congresses of astronautics have been held since 1950, but they have never been held in Arab countries.
