"The marine special vessel of the project 14400 was withdrawn from the boathouse of the Ship Repair and Shipbuilding Corporation in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region," he said, without specifying the exact date of launching.

The vessel with a displacement of about 900 tons for the training of helicopter pilots of naval aviation of the Russian Navy was laid down in 2018. It is assumed that in Yeysk it will ensure the work of the 859th Center for Combat Use and Retraining of the flight crew of the Russian Navy's naval aviation.
The design of the vessel was developed in the Central Design Bureau "Baltsudoproekt", which is a division of the Krylov State Scientific Center.
