Calculations of the latest Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems conducted firing at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region. They successfully hit ten targets.
According to the press service of the Western Military District, the shooting was conducted at high-altitude high-speed targets that simulated a raid by tactical aircraft of a conditional enemy. Saman-type missiles were used as targets. They were released at a distance of a hundred kilometers.
During live firing, the SAM was tested for operability at different altitudes, with different types of objects in conditions of suppression by radar means.
After the exercises, the servicemen and equipment went to the place of permanent deployment - North Ossetia. The train will travel about one thousand kilometers by rail.
