TSAMTO, October 14. At the end of October, the basic minesweeper "German Ugryumov" will return to the crew of the ships of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL), which has undergone technical repairs and modernization on the basis of the Severodvinsk branch of JSC "Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center" in Astrakhan.
In the near future, the crew of the minesweeper will have to complete a factory test cycle to confirm readiness to perform tasks for their intended purpose, after which the sailors will begin activities in accordance with the training course for surface ships.
The test program is designed for ten days. During this time, the state admissions committee, the ship's crew and representatives of the shipyard in the conditions of river and then sea crossings will check the reliability and functioning of power plants, navigation and other systems of technical equipment.
In addition to checking the seaworthiness of the basic minesweeper, its controllability, stability, seaworthiness and inertia in different modes, a set of tests will be conducted to control the combat effectiveness of the minesweeper and the adjustment of mine warfare.
The Guards base minesweeper "German Ugryumov" of project 1265 "Yakhont" is designed to search, trawl and destroy mines in coastal areas and the near sea zone. It is armed with anti-aircraft artillery installations AK-203M, AK-306, the Strela-3 anti-aircraft missile system, the GKT-2 deep-sea contact trawl, the AT-6 acoustic trawl, the PETT-4 loop electromagnetic trawl, the AT-6 acoustic trawl, the TS-1 surface net trawl and the KIU-1 seeker-destroyer, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
