The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun regular use of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones purchased from Turkey, using them for various missions, including on the demarcation line in the Donbas. This can be judged by the incoming information from both sides of the conflict and independent sources.
According to navigation resources, on October 11, a pair of such operational-tactical medium-altitude drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, based at the Kulbakino military airfield near Mykolaiv, was recorded in the skies of Donbass. And while one was taking off, the other was landing at the home airfield. This suggests that the Ukrainian "Bayraktars" have begun to keep watch in the airspace over the region.
Drones with the call signs TS-T065 and UKR-TB2-NOREG were identified, which turned off their transponders, approaching the positions of the Donbass militia. Later, a message appeared on the Network about the death of one serviceman of the People's Militia of the DPR from an air strike.

It should be noted that earlier the Ukrainian side published a video showing high-precision strikes on the Donbass militia from drones. However, Bayraktars can also be used to perform reconnaissance missions. Recently, one such drone allegedly flew to the borders of Iran through the Russian air defense zone. Therefore, their appearance at the borders of Russia is also likely.
We remind you that the People's Militia of the DPR and the LPR have air defense and electronic warfare equipment at their disposal to prevent threats from drones.
