Combat crews of coastal missile systems "Bastion" of the Baltic Fleet during an exercise in the Kaliningrad region discovered and destroyed a ship strike group of a conditional enemy.
As reported in the information support department of the press service of the Baltic Fleet, the exercise was planned. His task was to work out the change of position and deployment of complexes in a new area with a missile strike on a conditional enemy. More than 50 servicemen and about ten pieces of equipment were involved in the exercise.
According to the plan of the exercise, the fleet control center received data on the "enemy" naval strike group, which is preparing to open fire on coastal infrastructure facilities and fleet ships.
The Bastions' calculations detected a simulated enemy, put the complexes on alert as soon as possible and destroyed the simulated targets in the sea with volleys of cruise missiles, performing electronic launches. The exercise also tested the operability of missile systems and loading and unloading of weapons complexes.
