"The first brigade set of the S-500 air defense system entered service with the association, which is on combat duty for the protection and defense of aerospace space over the capital of the country," he said, without specifying the composition of the compound and the date of its transfer. On July 20, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the air Defense System performed test live firing on a high-speed ballistic target at the Kapustin Yar training ground. Serial deliveries should begin in the first half of 2022.
