TSAMTO, October 12. Innovators of the branch of the Military Academy of Logistics (Penza) have developed a robotic diagnostic complex of technical intelligence.
The complex is distinguished by high maneuverability and cross-country terrain, and diagnostic algorithms in automated mode eliminate the need to use highly qualified repairmen in the firing position.
Unlike well-known diagnostic systems, the new complex allows you to evaluate not only failures of functioning, but also parametric failures, as well as predict the residual operating time of friction units to failure, allows you to conduct reconnaissance of the terrain using a quadrocopter equipped with a video camera, as well as video recording of combat damage to self-propelled howitzers (SG).
The complex is designed to solve technical intelligence tasks by moving to a firing position to a failed self-propelled howitzer in remote control mode, connecting to a system of sensors for monitoring the parameters of SG assembly units, automated assessment of the technical condition and deciding on the type of repair and its location, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
