PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, October 12 - RIA Novosti. Coastal missile launchers of the Pacific Fleet have been alerted as part of exercises in Kamchatka, the press service of the Air Force for the Pacific Fleet reports.
"The complexes of the coastal connection for training tasks will be deployed in the positional areas on the Pacific coast. Technical units will train missiles for firing divisions, while working out control time standards. Within a few days, more than 400 rocket scientists will work out the tasks of combat use of coastal complexes, including the withdrawal of military equipment from under a massive missile strike of a conditional enemy and deployment in reserve positions," the report says.
It is noted that the rocket men have already worked out conducting air defense, overcame conditionally infected areas with the use of protective equipment.
"All units, including the coastal anti-ship missile systems "BAL" and "Bastion" worked out the tasks of bringing them to the highest degrees of combat readiness and marched to designated areas as part of columns," the press service of the Air Defense Ministry reported.
