Currently, the army of this state has the second fleet of combat vehicles of this model after India, numbering, according to various reference publications, more than six hundred units.
These modern tanks with good armor protection and high firepower have proven themselves well during operation in the desert in conditions of extreme heat and heavy dust.
The use of such a system on them, which is, in fact, a combat analogue of the Internet, will significantly increase the capabilities of the ground forces - units and individual crews will be able to quickly receive information on the battlefield, which will contribute to the successful implementation of the tasks assigned by the command. The interaction of tankers with mechanized infantry, artillery, including jet, with combat helicopters of army aviation, reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles of various types will improve.
In case of successful implementation of the program, the Algerian army will firmly consolidate its status as the most advanced on the African continent.
The defense department of this state has long had close contacts with the leading arms manufacturers in the world. For example, the assembly of German Fuchs 2 three-axle armored personnel carriers is organized in the country. More than a thousand units are expected to enter the army.
Last year, it was also reported about the possible release of 500 more modern four-axle Boxer. It is known that such armored personnel carriers have been tested here for a long time.
The car fleet consists almost entirely of Mercedes-Benz, which are equipped with various weapons, including multiple rocket launchers.
