TSAMTO, October 11. The formations and military units of missile troops and artillery receive modern MLRS of medium caliber "Tornado-G", modernized self-propelled howitzers "MSTA-S", self-propelled ATGM "Chrysanthemum-S".
Reconnaissance artillery units are equipped with radar complexes for reconnaissance of firing positions "Zoo-1M", radar stations "Aistenok", automated sound-thermal and sonometric complexes of artillery reconnaissance.
To increase the mobility and firing capabilities of artillery, including during operations in the Arctic region, the development of a whole line of samples of highly mobile artillery and mortar weapons on various types of chassis is being completed. Among them are 152-mm self-propelled artillery gun "Malva", 120-mm self-propelled artillery gun "Phlox" and 82-mm self-propelled mortar "Drok", according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
