Six Syrian soldiers were wounded as a result of a strike by six Israeli F-16 fighter jets on the T-4 airfield in the province of Homs (Syria).
This was reported by the Russian military.
The damage to the airfield is insignificant, the Syrian air defense forces shot down 8 out of 12 rockets fired by Israeli planes, Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria, said at a briefing.
"On October 8, at 21:33, six F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force, crossing the state border of the Syrian Arab Republic in the area of Al-Tanf, struck 12 guided missiles at the T-4 airfield (TIFOR) in the province of Homs," Kulit said.
"The Syrian air defense forces on duty destroyed eight missiles from the Russian-made Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex, which is in service with the armed forces of the SAR," Kulit said.
