At the Russian-Pakistani dRuzhba-2021 exercise taking place in the Krasnodar Territory, the guests were given the opportunity to test the combat effectiveness of our small arms and the firepower of BTR-82A armored personnel carriers.
To do this, the military engineers of the Southern Military District deployed training sites at the local training ground for shooting from the Kalashnikov AK-12, Makarov pistol (it was offered to the Pakistanis to use in motion), as well as from the PKP-M machine gun and the upgraded Dragunov SVD-M sniper rifle.
The guests showed particular interest in the BTR-82A armored personnel carriers. Moreover, the officers of the Pakistani special forces unit volunteered to fire from them. Later they admitted that most of all they liked the ease of control and accuracy of firing from the armament of the Russian armored personnel carrier.
According to the scenario of the dRuzhba-2021 maneuvers, Pakistani servicemen are waiting for joint actions with their Russian colleagues in urban conditions. In particular, they will work out the storming of the building and landing by landing from the Mi-8AMTSh Terminator helicopter.
Recall that the joint exercise, where our and Pakistani military personnel from special forces units work out cooperation in the elimination of conditional illegal armed formations, takes place at the Molkino training ground and will last until October 9.
