Moscow. October 8th. INTERFAX - Combat crews of anti-ship missile complexes "BAL" and "Bastion" from the missile and artillery formations of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) during the exercises destroyed an amphibious detachment of ships of a conditional enemy in the Black Sea, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reports.
"According to the plan of the exercise, during the tracking, combat crews discovered and escorted a detachment of ships of a conditional enemy, which, according to the data received, was preparing to strike at the infrastructure of the economy in two directions: on the Crimean Peninsula and the Caucasian coast," the Black Sea Fleet said in a statement.
At the command from the control point, the combat crews "BAL" and "Bastion" brought the complexes to battle and launched missile strikes against naval targets.
The targets, which were the frigate "Admiral Grigorovich", the patrol ship "Ladny" and the missile cruiser "Moscow" of the Black Sea Fleet, were conditionally destroyed at the maximum possible distance from economic facilities. Rocket firing was carried out electronically.
In addition, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reported that an inspection was carried out in the fleet, during which the coast guard servicemen were alerted by the "alarm" signal. During the inspection, motorized rifle units with regular weapons made 200-kilometer marches to the interspecific range "OPUK" to practice tactical actions.
"During the march, the personnel of the units worked out the tasks of repelling an attack by a sabotage and reconnaissance group of a conditional enemy and overcoming conditionally infected areas of the terrain," the fleet added.
