The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation plans to conduct another test launch of the newest hypersonic missile "Zircon" by the end of the year. Most likely, for the first time, a volley firing of "ZIRCONS" will be carried out from the frigate Admiral Nakhimov.

As a source in the military-industrial complex told RIA Novosti, "by the end of the year, at least one more firing of the Zircon missile should be carried out as part of the tests - from aboard the lead frigate of Project 22350 Admiral Gorshkov. He noted that within the framework of this launch, the frigate is considering the possibility of carrying out the first salvo firing of hypersonic missiles.
Multiple rocket launches are considered the final phase of testing. The almost simultaneous output of missiles allows you to check not only the readiness of the "Zircons" themselves. During such tests, the functioning of the ship's combat control system is also being studied.This is necessary when it is necessary to strike simultaneously at several targets at once, including land and sea.
As a rule, the launch of missiles from the ship is carried out with a difference of a few seconds. During the tests, electronic suppression systems can be launched.
This allows you to check the noise immunity of the missile homing system.
