SEVASTOPOL, October 6. /TASS/. The Marine Instrumentation Corporation (KMP) is now at the stage of formation. This was reported to TASS by the head of the KMP Leonid Strugov on the fields of the Sevastopol Naval Salon.
"Now we are talking only about the beginning of the functioning of the corporation. Work is underway to study the issues of the functioning of the concerns (included in the KMP), their organizational structures, their financial and economic condition. This is the very beginning," he said.
Strugov recalled that the beginning of the corporation's work is decision-making and paperwork. In particular, "a license was obtained to work with materials for the protection of state secrets."
According to him, an office is being built in St. Petersburg on the territory of the Electropribor concern. In Moscow, repairs are underway on the territory of the building of the N. N. Andreev Acoustic Institute.
"The formation of a corporation, the selection of people is underway. I already have the appropriate deputies for certain types of work," he said, recalling that he has been in office for only six months.
The ILC was established on the basis of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated April 1, 2020 and the decree of the head of the Government of Russia dated June 1, 2020. It is being built on the basis of four concerns - Moscow's Morinformsystem-AGAT and St. Petersburg's Okeanpribor, NPO Aurora and Central Research Institute Electropribor.
