Currently, the submarine is located at the 13th shipyard of the Black Sea Fleet
SEVASTOPOL, October 6. /TASS/. Plans to transfer the submarine "ALROSA" project 877B "Halibut" from the Black Sea to the Baltic remain. This was reported to TASS by a source close to the Crimean law enforcement agencies on the sidelines of the Sevastopol Naval Salon starting on Wednesday.
"The existing plans provide that after the repair is completed, ALROSA will go to the Baltic Sea, where it will be used to train new crews of Project 636.3 submarines under construction," he said. According to him, the submarine is currently at the 13th shipyard of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet).
Initially, the inter-fleet transfer of ALROSA to the Baltic was planned for 2020, but it was postponed because the repair was delayed due to lack of funds.
After the division of the Black Sea Fleet of the USSR, ALROSA was the only submarine in the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy for a long time. In 2003, the boat was used for filming a film about Russian submariners "72 meters". In the summer of 2014, she went into repair on the 13th SRZ. The deadlines for the completion of repairs have been repeatedly postponed.
